home at last

this was truly an amazing discovery...i felt like jacques cousteau for a moment...exploring the streets of montreal..minding my own business and smack!! right ahead of me was this structure of pure bliss!!!!!!!!! maybe as blissfull as my fav BLISS lemon sage lotion....a building made purely of FABULOUS multi COLORED GLASS panels !! including my fav color hot pink !! woooohooo!! love it!! i was on my honeymoon when i ran right into it!! well my husband actually said lets go in.... go in?? what is this pace? can we just go in?? is there even a door?? so we went..right on in through the door and into the building...what could be in there?? i wondered.. an entry to another underground walkway with shops ??..offices?? how about a forest ?? a fake forest ? made of fake trees..all HOT PINK??? wow that would be crazy!! it was crazy! it was a total fake hot pink forest of trees as far as my eyes can see!! was i in my own wonderland? would i not need ruby slippers to go home?? cause as far as i was concerned, i felt HOME!! home at last!

for some reason.. my mom doesnt "get" this picture.....whats to get??? ..i snapped it..i got it...and now i enjoy it! btw.. i took this pic in delray beach florida visting my mom and grandparents..stayed at the SEAGATE.. it was only open a month..got a sweeeeet deal..it had the deepest soaking tub ever!! and fab bath products by GILCRIST & SOAMES !!! loved it!!! it was soooo new, modern and clean.. would definately stay there again!! cute pool area too!!

my mix matched happy dinner table ..

i was having a dinner party for my sons bday and hanukkah together..i was stressing as usual..how will i have enough matching dishes and glasses???? should i asap go online to cb2 and get the dishes have been sooooooo wanting ??? good idea ???? is that crazy ?? hurry and order acrylic chairs?? maybe ask my man to skip over to ikea for a pair of hot pink chairs along with a pair in lime?? my mind was buzzzing!!! and now the salad plates... i didnt have enough..well..in that case.. improvization was in order! im not even sure thats a word but it does make sense.. haah.. i mixed and matched everything!! down to the napkins!! multi colored stripes with black and white patterns..glasses some clear glass with dots..plastic with black dots and clear solid hot pink.. dishes and salad plates were all mixed too!! oh what fun it was!! an extra seat??? an old folding chair?? no way!! heavens no! id almost rather be shot! well thats an exaggeration.. but i had to think quick!! ohhhhhhh...my hot pink patent leather ottoman!! perfect!! colorful table..enough seating..baby egg rolls..what would be dinner with out a hint of asain fare?? and a few of my favorite peeps!! oh what a night!!
